2 killed, 1 injured as wall near Mumbai Film City collapses

Two people lost their lives, and one was injured after a wall collapsed near Mumbai’s Film City in Goregaon. The incident occurred at Gate No. 2 of the Film City where a 60-feet long and 20-feet high wall suddenly collapsed, trapping the victims.

The deceased were identified as Sintu Mondal, 32, and Jaidev Prahlad Biswas, 45, who were declared dead upon admission to the hospital. The injured victim, Vikram Mondal, 29, was treated at a private hospital and later discharged.

The Goregaon Police Station has registered a case of accidental death and is currently investigating the tragedy to determine the cause of the wall collapse near Mumbai’s Film City.
