KTM has unveiled the 2024 RC 8C in the global market, with only 100 units being produced. The track-only motorcycle will be available for pre-booking starting March 20 at 15:00 CET, with sales limited to Europe, USA, Mexico, Canada, and South Africa. Customers must pay a 1,000 Euro pre-booking amount and select a preferred dealership.
The KTM RC 8C is powered by an 889 cc LC8c engine producing 133 bhp of power, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Designed for the track, it features a bespoke chassis and racing components. To maintain low weight, the bike comes with Carbon Kevlar bodywork inspired by the KTM RC16.
For a unique experience, KTM is hosting a special handover session in Portimão, Portugal, which includes a mandatory Race Parts Package purchase. The event offers a personalized track setup session, private dinner, meet and greet, a track day experience with KTM racing riders, hot laps in a KTM X-BOW race car, and a world-exclusive preview of future brand offerings.
The suspension of the 2024 KTM RC 8C has been tailored for track use, with a 43 mm WP APEX PRO 7543 closed cartridge fork in the front and a WP APEX PRO 7746 with a remote preload adjuster at the rear. The bike features Brembo 19RCS Corsa Corta radial master brake cylinders and Brembo Stylema front brake calipers, ensuring excellent braking performance. The frame is a purpose-built 25CrMo4 steel tubular frame, providing stability and precision on the track.
