34 fire tenders rush to massive godown fire in Delhi’s Alipur

A massive fire erupted at a godown in Alipur, Delhi, early Monday morning. The Director of Delhi Fire Service confirmed the incident, stating that 34 fire tenders were at the scene and no casualties had been reported so far.

Director of Delhi Fire Service (DFS) Atul Garg received a call about the blaze at 6:15 a.m. in Budhpur, Alipur area. “A total of 34 fire tenders have been rushed to the site. Fire is in the oil godown and the whirlpool company’s godown. The area is very large,” he said.

Garg also mentioned, “So far no causality/injuries have been reported and operation is going on.” The situation is being closely monitored, with more details expected to emerge as the operation progresses.

The cause of the fire and extent of the damage are yet to be determined, as authorities continue to work on extinguishing the flames. The safety of nearby residents and containment of the fire remain top priorities for the responding fire department.
