World War Orphans Day 2021: The World Day of War Orphans was celebrated on 6 January 2021. This day is celebrated every year. The day enables global communities to recognize the plight of a particularly vulnerable group.

The purpose of this day is to address the orphans of war as it has become a growing human and social crisis around the world. This day ensures the prediction of war orphans. It states that children who grow up in an orphanage experience emotional, social and physical barriers.

The World Day of War Orphans was initiated by the French organization, SOS Enfants en detres. UNICEF estimated that there are about 9,00,000 children in the Northeast, all of whom have been severely affected by the war, either due to lack of education, food, shelter or direct injury.
