Almost 6,500 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 ADVs have been sold in India since its introduction.

Royal Enfield has seen success with the new Himalayan 450 model, selling nearly 6,500 units in India since its launch in November. The CEO confirmed this development during an earnings call for the third quarter of FY2025, with production being ramped up to meet demand.

The Himalayan 450 brings a liquid-cooled engine, twin-spar platform, and connected digital console, marking it as the most advanced motorcycle from Royal Enfield. With production increasing gradually, the company aims to start international deliveries soon, catering to a high interest in the new model.

Built on a new platform, the Himalayan 450 is expected to spawn more products in the future, appealing to international markets with higher highway speeds. Addressing the shortcomings of the previous model, the new Himalayan provides improved performance, making it a versatile choice for adventure, commuting, and touring.

Priced between ₹2.85 lakh to ₹2.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai), the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 offers a mix of touring and off-road capabilities, with plans to introduce tubeless spokes in India. As part of the upcoming 450 range, the success of the Himalayan 450 sets the stage for more innovative offerings in the coming years.
