Ola Electric records 35,000 units in February, secures 42% market share

Ola Electric has registered 35,000 units in February 2023, marking its highest-ever monthly registrations with a 100% year-on-year growth. The company holds a market share of 42%. In the past three months, Ola Electric recorded close to 1 lakh registrations, with December seeing 30,000 registrations.

Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer of Ola Electric, attributed the growth to the increasing awareness and acceptance of quality EVs at accessible price points. The company announced an industry-first 8-year/80,000 km extended battery warranty and plans to expand its service network by 50% to 600 centres by April 2024. Customers can now opt for add-on warranty with increased kilometre limits.

Ola Electric’s electric scooter lineup includes S1 Pro, S1 Air, S1 X+, S1 X – 2 kWh, 3 kWh, 4 kWh variants. With a focus on providing best-in-class products and robust EV infrastructure, the company aims to continue its market leadership. The expansion plan includes more charging points and service centres to facilitate EV adoption. Customers can enhance their warranty coverage for additional kilometres at a nominal price.
