2024 Suzuki Swift set to hit the market in this country before its launch in India

Suzuki has unveiled the 2024 Swift in the Japanese market, set to go on sale in the UK and Republic of Ireland from April 2024, with an Indian release planned in the coming months. The UK variant includes significant cosmetic changes compared to the Indian version.

The Swift will be available in Motion and Ultra variants, each offering a range of features including 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, navigation, rear view camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, and more. The Ultra variant adds additional features such as automatic air conditioning and rear passenger heater outlet.

A new three-cylinder engine, the Z12E, replaces the four-cylinder unit in the 2024 Swift, providing an 8% increase in fuel efficiency. The hatchback will also come with a 12V mild hybrid system as standard to improve fuel economy. Suzuki has focused on reducing noise and vibration levels, applying sound and vibration adhesive to the underbody for a smoother ride.

Optional AllGrip all-wheel drive system will be available on Ultra variants with a manual gearbox later this year. Suzuki has also enhanced the ground clearance by increasing the ride height and fitting wider tires on the AllGrip variants. The new Swift aims to provide a more efficient and comfortable driving experience for customers.
