What to Expect from the Testing of the KTM 1390 Super Duke GT in Europe

The 2024 KTM 1390 Super Duke GT, spotted testing in Europe, showcases a revised subframe, enhanced luggage capacity, and a new bodywork design. The model is set to expand KTM’s lineup based on the new 1390 engine platform, following the successful launch of the 2024 KTM 1390 Super Duke R.

The 1390 engine measures 1,350cc, a slight increase from the previous 1290 engine, achieved through a 2mm bore increase. The V-twin engine features a new variable valve timing and lift system, boosting performance with 188 bhp and 145.07 Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

KTM’s innovative variable valve timing system elevates peak revs from 9,500 to 10,000 rpm, enhancing torque from 139 Nm to 145 Nm. The Super Duke GT will offer a revised subframe for better luggage capacity, a comfortable pillion seat, and distinct bodywork design elements like a new headlamp cluster and tall windscreen.

The KTM 1390 Super Duke GT is expected to launch globally as a 2025 model towards the end of 2024. It will compete with the Ducati Diavel V4 in the sports-touring segment, promising riders a thrilling blend of performance and touring capabilities.
