Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder SUV and Innova HyCross MPV now have shorter waiting periods, as per the latest update from Toyota Motor in India. Previously having the longest waiting times, these two models now have reduced delivery times, with waiting periods below 12 months. The HyRyder SUV and HyCross MPV are popular models from Toyota, available in petrol, strong hybrid, and CNG versions.
The Urban Cruiser HyRyder and Innova HyCross had the highest waiting periods among all Toyota models, but now, the waiting times have been significantly reduced. Other models like Glanza, Hilux, and Camry have waiting periods of just a month. The recently launched Urban Cruiser Taisor SUV will start deliveries from May onwards.
According to Toyota Motor, customers can now take home the Urban Cruiser HyRyder SUV in as little as three months, depending on the chosen powertrain. The strong hybrid version has the shortest waiting time, previously stretching to nearly five months. The CNG variant can be delivered within about six months, while the mild-hybrid variants have the longest waiting period of up to nine months.
The Innova HyCross MPV, available in petrol and strong hybrid versions, has a waiting period of up to six months for the petrol version. However, the strong hybrid variant could take over a year for delivery. The waiting period for the strong hybrid versions of the HyCross had previously extended beyond 12 months. The older version, Toyota Innova Crysta, also has a waiting period of around six months.
