How KTM & Husqvarna bikes receive a complimentary extended warranty for up to 5 years. Here’s the process.
In a significant development, KTM India has introduced an extended warranty program for its motorcycles, offering coverage of up to five years starting from April 1, 2024. This extended warranty, available at no extra cost, applies to all KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles and includes a standard two-year warranty and a three-year extension, along with one year of roadside assistance.
According to KTM, the extended warranty program underscores the brand’s dedication to customer satisfaction beyond the point of purchase. The coverage, spanning five years or 45,000 km, whichever comes first, includes a wide range of components and repairs, facilitating more affordable repair costs and reduced labor expenses. Additionally, the one-year roadside assistance feature comprises 24×7 RSA, safe towing, flat tire assistance, and on-site repair services.
Sumeet Narang, President (Probiking) at Bajaj Auto, expressed enthusiasm for the new warranty initiative, emphasizing KTM’s commitment to enhancing the ownership experience for customers. He stated, “At KTM, we are committed to ensuring a premium ownership experience for our customers. It’s about giving all KTM and Husqvarna owners the confidence to explore, to push boundaries, and to chase adventure without a single worry.”
The extended warranty program is currently available at KTM dealerships for a limited time and covers the entire KTM and Husqvarna range, from the 125 Duke to the 390 Adventure and the Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 401 models.
