Adair, Henry, and Mendis Up for ICC Men’s Player of the Month Award

Ireland’s Mark Adair, New Zealand’s Matt Henry, and Sri Lanka’s Kamindu Mendis are nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for March 2024. Maia Bouchier from England, Ashleigh Gardner from Australia, and Amelia Kerr from New Zealand are the nominees for the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award for the same period.

Mark Adair led Ireland to their first men’s Test victory against Afghanistan, taking 16 wickets across all formats in March. Matt Henry was exceptional for New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship series against Australia. Kamindu Mendis shone with back-to-back centuries in a Test against Bangladesh.

In the women’s category, Maia Bouchier played a crucial role for England in the T20I series in New Zealand. Ashleigh Gardner’s spin prowess helped Australia secure an ODI series victory over Bangladesh. Amelia Kerr was the standout performer for New Zealand in the recent T20I series.
