The exhibition kicked off today at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru and will be a five-day extravaganza featuring some of the most powerful fighter and transport aircraft across the globe.
The mega event was inaugurated by Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Besides the thrilling air displays and cutting-edge avionics technology, the event will also focus on the Made in India indigenous jet engine development.

Very Heavy Air Traffic at Bengaluru Airport
If you are landing in the city to watch the Aero Show by air, expect very dense air traffic at Bengaluru Airport due to the Aero India air show. There could be potential disruptions in flight schedules and delays in arrivals and departures. Therefore, visitors traveling by air are requested to check with the airlines for any changes in flights and plan accordingly.
Pass Registration is Mandatory for All Visitors at Aero India 2025
All visitors are required to register for a pass before they can gain entry into the event. The passes must be purchased online from the official Aero India website—www.aeroindia.gov.in. There are three categories of passes available for the Bangalore air show:
- Business Pass – ₹5,000 per person (valid Feb 10-12)
- General Visitor Pass – ₹2,500 per person (valid Feb 13-14)
- ADVA Pass (Air Display Viewing Area) – ₹1,000 per person (valid Feb 11-14)

How to Book a Pass for Aero India 2025
- Go to the official Aero India 2025 website: aeroindia.gov.in.
- Navigate to the ‘Tickets’ section.
- Click on the visitor registration option.
- Select the option of an Indian visitor or a foreign visitor.
- Fill in all the details, approve them, and sign up.
- Log in again and choose the type of pass: Business Pass, General Visitor Pass, or ADVA Pass (Air Display Viewing Area).
- Download the pass after approval.
Aero India 2025 Event Timings
The air show timings are daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Two air displays will be conducted daily—one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The air displays will feature spectacular performances by the latest fighter jets, including the Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jet from Russia and the F-35 from the United States. There will also be acrobatic displays by different aerobatic aircraft teams.
Strict Security Measures in Place
Strict security protocols will be in place, and visitors are warned that they will have to go through stringent security checks at the gate. Visitors are also advised to carry a valid Government of India-issued ID proof, such as an Aadhaar Card, for identification. Baggage checks will be very strict, so visitors are advised to carry only essential items to the air show.
How to Reach Aero India 2025; Venue
Aero India 2025 is taking place at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bangalore, located about 25 kilometres from Bangalore city.
Since parking space will be limited, visitors are advised to use taxis or public transport to reach the venue. Once visitors reach the parking lot, shuttle buses will be available to ferry them to the exhibition.
