After becoming CM, Biswa Sarma invited ULFA (I) for talks

Assam has got its 15th Chief Minister in the form of Hemant Biswa Sarma. After the BJP’s major victory in the assembly, Biswa Sarma has sworn in as the Chief Minister. But after taking the oath, Biswa Sarma told what he would do in his next 5 years. He said that his aim is that Assam is included in the top 5 states of the country. Not only this, but the new Chief Minister also invited talks of Paresh Barua, Chief of ULFA (I), a militant organization.

Corona’s situation in Assam worrisome – CM

Hemant Biswa Sarma while referring to Corona said that, the situation of Corona in Assam is very serious. We are seeing that our daily corona cases are reaching beyond 5000. Sarma also told that tomorrow he is going to call his first cabinet meeting. He said that all aspects of the corona will be discussed in the cabinet meeting to be held tomorrow. An attempt will be made to prevent the corona from spreading.

The new Chief Minister of Assam said that till the situation of Corona in Assam does not improve, the situation in the entire North-East cannot improve. We have an accountability towards our people and the entire North East. That is why Assam will do its best. The line of action will be ready in tomorrow’s meeting.

Invited ULFA (I) in the past
