After protests from locals to save their temples from being included within the proposed IIT campus in North Goa, the state authorities has determined to exempt 45,000 sq. metres of land parcel from the mission to separate the non secular buildings from the institute.
The choice was taken by the Goa cupboard on Wednesday, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated.
