Agartala boys found in Mumbai, returning on Thursday

Two minor students from Agartala, Tripura, were found in Mumbai after leaving home with dreams of success. The Tripura Police team, with the help of Mumbai Police, located the two boys at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. They are expected to be brought back to Agartala on Thursday.

The two students, both in Class 8, went missing after going to tuition classes on March 7. The police were informed when they did not return home. The guardians of the boys also accompanied the Tripura Police team to Mumbai where they were found at the railway station.

“We are in touch with the Mumbai Police. The children are in safe custody,” said Superintendent of Police, Kiran Kumar K. Chief Minister Manik Saha commended the state police for their efforts in locating the missing students and ensuring their safe return to their families in Agartala.

The two boys, identified as Omkar Chakraborty and Prithvi Devavarma, will be handed over to their respective families upon their return. The Chief Minister praised the quick action of the Tripura Police and thanked the Mumbai Police for their cooperation in the successful operation.
