‘Akaay’ Name Meaning Revealed As Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma Welcomed Their Baby Boy
The Bollywood Actress Anushka Sharma and Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli shared the happy news of the arrival of their second baby on February 15.
The couple is blessed with a boy, who they named ‘Akaay.’
Virat who withdrew from the “five-match Test series against England due to personal reasons” took to his official Instagram account and shared the heartwarming news.
Virat wrote,
“With abundant happiness and our hearts all of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika’s little brother into this world!” He further added, “We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love & Gratitude. Virat & Anushka.”
‘Akaay’ Meaning
Akaay is a Hindi word having Turkish origin. The word ‘Akaay” means ‘Nirakaar’ or ‘shape-less’ in Sanskrit.
In Turkish it also means a shining moon. In the Sanskrit language, the name Akaay means something that does not decay, hence ‘immortal.’
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli
King of Cricket, Virat Kohli and the Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma got married in Italy in 2017. On January 11, 2021, they welcomed their first baby, a daughter named Vamika. They named her after the name of Goddess Durga.
Rumors about Anushka Sharma being pregnant again have been around the corner since last year. When the actress limited her appearances in public, the belief became strong.
Anushka was not even attending Virat’s cricket matches frequently. However, neither Anushka nor Virat ever commented or confirmed on the pregnancy rumors.
Initially, Virat Kohli withdrew from the first two test matches that were against England. Later he cited personal reasons and withdrew from the whole series.
AB de Villiers, Virat’s close friend also went to his YouTube channel and revealed that as the couple “Virushka” is expecting their second child, Virat needs a break from cricket.
Notably, AB De Villiers changed his words after some days and mentioned that he was not aware of the reason why Virat Kohli left the Test Matches against England.
However, with Akaay’s birth, every rumor and logic falls into place.
