Ali Fazal Joins Cast of ‘Lahore 1947’
Mumbai, Feb 22 (IANS) – Actor Ali Fazal, known for his work in ‘Mirzapur’ and the ‘Fukrey’ franchise, has joined the cast of the upcoming film ‘Lahore 1947’, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The film also stars Sunny Deol, Abhimanyu Singh, and Preity Zinta.
Ali Fazal, a promising talent in Indian cinema, has also worked in international productions. He gained popularity for his roles in ‘Mirzapur’ and ‘Fukrey’ franchise.
Abhimanyu Singh is set to play the antagonist in ‘Lahore 1947’. Director Rajkumar Santoshi expressed, “We have roped in Abhimanyu Singh who will be seen playing a strong and lead role as the antagonist. His intensity, voice, and conviction are truly unbeatable.”
Aamir Khan will produce ‘Lahore 1947’ under Aamir Khan Productions, with Santoshi at the helm. The film is already generating buzz with its stellar cast and talented crew.
