A letter has also been found outside the home of industrialist Mukesh Ambani in south Mumbai from an explosive-laden car, threatening to target the Ambani family. Sources associated with the police have given information about this matter.
According to sources, this letter is in broken English, threatening that it is just a ‘trailer’, “Gelatin sticks are not assembled yet. Next time we will come with complete preparation, to go steady”.
The police are furthering the investigation with the help of CCTV footage
According to police sources, who are furthering the investigation with the help of CCTV footage, monitoring of CCTV has revealed that
The car came from Thane towards Mumbai. After parking the car, the conspirators moved towards Pedder Road.
Earlier on February 25 at 12:20 pm, the car was stopped at Haji Ali Junction for 10 minutes.
The suspect’s car reached Carmichael Road late at 1 pm on 25 February.
The driver did not get off the car for the next two hours.
After this, around 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the local police got information about this suspicious vehicle. There is a suspicion that the gelatin sticks recovered from the car have come from Nagpur, because they have got a sticker from a Nagpur company. Although this is not an attempt to mislead the police, it is also being investigated.
What is the whole matter?
A vehicle with gelatin sticks was parked on Carmichael Road near Antilia, the residence of Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani. On this matter, the spokesperson of the Mumbai Police said that an FIR has been lodged against unknown people in Gamdevi Police Station.
On this matter, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh tweeted, “20 sticks of gelatin have been found in a Scorpio near the residence of industrialist Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai.” The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police is investigating the case and soon the results of the investigation will be revealed.
Police said that the registration number on the number plate of the vehicle is similar to an SUV in Ambani’s security.
Apart from this, the police said that the car from which the gelatin sticks were found was stolen from the Vikhroli area of Mumbai. There was some damage to its chassis number, but the police managed to identify its real owner.
Police have said that the gelatin sticks obtained from the car are of commercial grade, which are generally used in construction related excavation work.
