Amit Shah sounds poll bugle in Rajasthan, reiterates 400-seat target
Union Home Minister Amit Shah sounded the poll bugle for Lok Sabha elections from Bikaner in Rajasthan during his day-long tour of the desert state. He shared strategies to achieve the BJP’s target of winning 400 seats and urged party workers to ensure the BJP wins all 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan. He stated, “Narendra Modi took our economy from 11th to fifth position in 10 years. Once we get another chance, the economy will jump to the number three spot.” Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed confidence in winning every seat in the state by more than 5 lakh votes in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
State BJP chief C.P. Joshi highlighted the joining of former minister Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya to the BJP from the Congress, stating that Congress did not allow him to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Malviya claimed influence in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat and expressed intent to make tribal members in the Congress join the BJP.
