Anand Vardhan takes over Noida Metro Rail Corporation as the new ED

In the latest development, Anand Vardhan has been appointed as the new Executive Director of Noida Metro Rail Corporation. Earlier he was appointed as ACEO of the Greater Noida Authority. He took over his duties on November 21st. Soon after his joining he conducted a small meeting with the corporation subordinates and collected the necessary data required to do his operations at the present routes of the metro.

Ritu Maheshwari CEO of Noida-Greater Noida Authority and Managing Director of Noida Metro Rail Corporation on November 17th gave her throne as an Executive Director of Noida Metro Rail Corporation to Anand Vardhan 2017 batch IAS officer and ACEO of Greater Noida Authority, Anand Vardhan.

On November 21st, He took over his designated duties at the NMRC office in Noida. As soon as he joined the first thing he done is conduct a meeting with all the officials. He also inquired regarding the current route from Sector 51, Noida, to Depot Station, Greater Noida. Along with the proposed routes Botanical Garden to Sector 142, Noida’s Sector 52 to Knowledge Park Five as well as Greater Noida’s Depot Station to Bodaki. 

As the new Director of Noida Metro Rail Corporation, he told all of his staff to work religiously on each proposed route. The ongoing proposed route of Sector 52 to Knowledge Park Five has been done and is just waiting for its approval Ministry of Finance (Govt. of India). Meanwhile, the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the route from Depot to Bodaki and Botanical Garden to Sector 142 is under its final stage of approval. 

Anand Vardhan has stated that all three proposed routes will be their first priority. NMRC MD’s OSD VPS Komar, GM Technical Manoj Bajpai, Chief Operating Officer RK Saxena, GM Project Pankaj Kumar, GM Personnel & Finance Pankaj Malhotra were all part of the meeting while Anand took over the charge
