Once upon a time, there was a vashisht gotra brahman named “Summat”. Summat got married to the daughter of Maharishi Bhrigu, whose name was “Deeksha”. After marriage, he got a daughter named “Sushila”. After the sudden demise of Deeksha, Summat married to Karkasha. Sushila married Kaundinya Muni. Karkasha always used to talk to Deeksha in anger. Because of this, Deeksha was resourceless. When she reached a river with her husband, she saw some women fasting. Women were fasting for Anant Chaturdashi. They told everything to her about Anant Chaturdashi and said while fasting chant this Mantra.

Significance or Importance
