Yet again, one of the most awaited awards shows has begun. With celebrities making the audience gawk at them due to their outfits and way of carrying them. There’s anticipation, nervousness, and most importantly, a lot of fun. The world is gearing up for this year’s Academy Awards, which will be held on March 28 at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre. Nobody is more eager than the 2022 Oscar nominees, who convened today for a yearly commemoration lunch in the Ray Dolby Ballroom.

Famous Faces Who Attended The Event

The occasion will be the first time the nominees have met since the Oscar nominees were announced on February 8, and it will be a welcome bounce back after the lunch was canceled for the first period in history the year before due to the outbreak. However, a few of Hollywood’s biggest names lead the high-profile nominees, notably Spencer actress Kristen Stewart, past Oscar winner Penelope Cruz, Jessica Chastain, Andrew Garfield, and others.

Some Of The Outfits Worn

The actors shined in magnificent black outfits and colorful pink embellishments as they gathered up with their fellow hopefuls. Stewart, who is recognized for her performance in the blockbuster series Spencer as Princess Diana, appeared regal in her silver bands and over-the-sleeve jewelry. On the other hand, Penelope Cruz looked fantastic in a lovely fluffy pink little outfit that showed off her shapely legs. As the protagonist in Pedro Almodovar’s latest highly lauded Spanish film, Parallel Mothers, her work has earned her a nomination for Best Actress. Overall, the celebrities were top-notch when it came to their styling this year. As always, duh.

Will Smith, dressed sharply in a blue suit, was one of the many celebrities that attended the meeting. The 53-year-old actor was accompanied by Best Actor nominees Andrew Garfield, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Denzel Washington. On the other side, Billie Eilish wore a velvet top over a monogram midi skirt to show off her darker side. Which she anyway likes to flaunt, considering her song genre. Jessica Chastain, who plays Tammy Faye in The Eyes of Tammy Faye, donned a black ankle-length outfit with long sleeves and ruffled cuffs, but in a unique appearance than her cinematographic equivalent.

The official 94th Academy Awards show will take place on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 5:30 a.m. IST.
