Playing a character like Wolverine takes a lot of effort. Besides acting ou need to be active when it comes to fights and the action-packed scene in the movie. While working on The Boys, star stunt work mostly consists of being on the wire to fly, and fighting scenes with laser eyes to attack. When it comes to Logan, it is a whole new arena.
Wolverine is a whole new beast, it requires a lot of physical strength to perform fight shots perfectly. Judging by his comment, it looks like he won’t be comfortable playing the role due to so much stunt work.
