Anupam Kher shares vintage photo with Anang Desai as a ‘reminder of our friendship’

Veteran actor Anupam Kher took a trip down memory lane and shared a 48-year-old picture with Anang Desai, his batch mate and roommate from the National School of Drama in Delhi. The photo dates back to when they were part of the iconic play ‘Andha Yug’ by Dharamveer Bharti.

In a recent Instagram post, Anupam shared the throwback picture from ‘Andha Yug’ and a collage with a present-day photo, highlighting their long-lasting friendship. Anang also visited Anupam on the set of his film ‘Tanvi The Great’, where they recreated the old picture after 48 years.

Anupam reminisced about their time together and mentioned that not much has changed in their friendship and personalities over the years. Sikander Kher, Anupam’s son, humorously commented on the post about their snoring habits now. Anang is popularly known for his role as Babuji in the TV show ‘Khichdi’.

Anupam, who recently appeared in ‘Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay’, has projects like ‘The Signature’ and ‘Vijay 69’ lined up. The two actors have remained close friends since their NSD days and continue to share a special bond even after nearly five decades.
