In April 2022, Kuo hinted at the debut of Apple iPhone foldable smartphones.

iPad Mini to Roll Out Before a Foldable iPhone

The Information reported that Apple is onto developing two variants of foldable iPhones. Reports claim that the iPhones are “designed to fold horizontally, adopting a clamshell-style form factor.” Thus, it will take a similar shape to the Moto Razr Plus or the Galaxy Z Flip. However, these anticipatory models might not roll out in the market this year or in 2025.

According to a South Korean report, the iPad mini will be launched first in the market then the anticipated foldable device will be rolled out. The Elec informed that the iPhone manufacturing company is in its early phase of developing a “compact foldable iPad.” The same is expected to be revealed between 2026 and 2027.

As per the reports, this iPad will come around 7 to 8 inches in screen size and can replace the current iPad Mini of 8.3 inches. It has been reported that both LG and Samsung will partner with Apple to collectively design the highly anticipated Apple iPhone foldable smartphone.
