Aprilia Tuareg 660 ADV 2024 Launched in India at a Starting Price of ₹18.85 Lakh

Aprilia has launched the Tuareg 660, the third motorcycle based on the new 660 platform. The bike features a purposeful design inspired by Dakar bikes, with a tall windscreen, LED headlamp, and minimal fairing. The bike is powered by a 659cc parallel-twin engine, producing 80 bhp and 79 Nm of torque. It is equipped with advanced electronics and a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity.

The bike is underpinned by a tubular frame with 43 mm USD front forks and a progressive linkage monoshock at the rear, offering 240 mm of travel. Braking performance comes from twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS. The Tuareg 660 rides on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels with tubeless tyres, providing a comfortable and versatile riding experience.

The Aprilia Tuareg 660 will compete with the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE, Honda XL750 Transalp, BMW F 850 GS, and the newly launched 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 range in the adventure touring segment. The Italian ADV, however, comes with a hefty price tag, significantly higher than its rivals, making it a premium offering in the market.

Overall, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 promises to deliver a thrilling and capable adventure touring experience to riders looking for a rugged and versatile motorcycle for their journeys. With its advanced features, powerful engine, and distinctive design, the Tuareg 660 is set to make a mark in the competitive adventure touring segment.

The new Aprilia Tuareg 660 was first published on 16th April 2024, at 10:34 PM IST, marking its official entry into the Indian market with its impressive specifications and features.
