Arun Singh Dhumal greets England team with ‘ideal conditions’ at HPCA

Indian Premier League (IPL) chairman Arun Singh Dhumal welcomed the England cricket team for the fifth Test match at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala on March 7. After winning the first Test, India has taken an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series, marking their 17th consecutive Test series win at home.

England faced their first Test series loss since Brendon McCullum became head coach and Ben Stokes captain. Dhumal expressed the perfect conditions for the match in a social media post, welcoming the team with a picture of HPCA.

India’s fourth Test victory was led by Dhruv Jurel with knocks of 90 and 39 not out, along with partnerships with Kuldeep Yadav and Shubman Gill. Debutant Akash Deep impressed with three wickets, while Ashwin and Kuldeep took crucial wickets to secure the win.
