Ashley Dyrdahl Arrested For Helping Burnsville Officers Shooting Suspect Shannon Gooden

The Burnsville shooting which occurred Last month had invaded the news headlines. A new update has been received regarding the incident recently.

Ashley Dyrdhal was the girlfriend of Shannon Gooden, the suspect in the Burnsville shooting case. She has been apprehended and allegations were imposed on her about procuring five guns for Shannon Gooden, reported Times Now.

It is noteworthy that “the guns led to the killing of three first responders” of the case.

Charges on Ashley Dyrdahl

The US Attorney General said that Gooden was barred from procurement of weapons. Thus, his girlfriend visited multiple stores certain times to buy weapons before the shooting.

On Thursday afternoon, she was scheduled to be presented in the local court.

Gooden has accusations on him to have killed Adam Finseth: the firefighter paramedic, Officer Matthew Ruge, and Paul Elmstrand: the Burnsville Police Officer.

Formally, Ashley Dyrdahl has been charged with 11 counts of felony. Her list of charges includes perjury, straw purchasing, conspiracy, and many more.

Allegedly, Ashley bought AR-15-style firearms on behalf of her sometime boyfriend, Shannon Cortez Gooden.

The law enforcement officials stated that they would give their best and would leave no stone unturned to solve the case and reach a definitive conclusion.

As the news of Ashley getting accused of procuring weapons spread, massive curiosity sparked about the intricacies of the case.

Andrew Luger’s office, US Attorney, “conspired with Shannon Cortez Gooden to place firearms in Gooden’s hands, despite the fact Gooden could not legally own or possess firearms.”

As per CBS News, Luger said,

“The indictment makes it clear that Dyrdahl and Gooden knew exactly what they were doing. That he could not purchase firearms because he was a convicted felon. So instead, he would pick out specific weapons and she would buy them in violation of federal law – placing powerful weapons in the hands of a violent, convicted felon.”

Ashley Anne Dyrdahl is a 35-year-old woman and sometime girlfriend of Burnsville officers shooting suspect Shannon Gooden. The prosecutors believe before buying two AR-15-style firearms used in the Feb. 18 shooting, Ashley knew that Gooden was a felon.
