Atishi states that Delhi CM Kejriwal prioritises people over self even in ED custody

New Delhi, March 24 (IANS) Delhi Minister Atishi praised Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for prioritizing the welfare of Delhiites even while in Enforcement Directorate’s custody. Kejriwal directed Atishi to address water and sewage issues, and ensure an adequate supply of water tankers for the upcoming summers, showcasing his commitment to serving the people.

Speaking at a press conference, Atishi expressed admiration for Kejriwal’s selflessness, stating, “Tears welled up in my eyes when I read these directives. He isn’t thinking about himself but rather about the people of Delhi, showing his dedication as a true public servant.”

Highlighting Kejriwal’s deep-rooted connection to the people of Delhi, Atishi emphasized, “He sees every Delhiite as a member of his own family. Even in custody, he is constantly worried about the concerns of his family of two crore people in Delhi, prioritizing their welfare above all else.”

The directive was conveyed to Atishi, who oversees the water portfolio, demonstrating Kejriwal’s hands-on approach to governing and his unwavering dedication to the well-being of Delhiites.

This gesture by Kejriwal showcases his commitment to public service and his determination to fulfill his responsibilities as Chief Minister, even in challenging circumstances. His actions have garnered praise and admiration from various quarters, highlighting his unwavering focus on serving the people of Delhi.
