BAFTA Awards: Deepika in Sabyasachi sari presents Glazer award for 'The Zone of Interest'

Indian actress Deepika Padukone added another feather to her cap as she presented the BAFTA award for Best Film not in English language to Jonathan Glazer for ‘The Zone of Interest’. The star looked stunning in a silver shimmery sequined saree with a matching blouse by Sabyasachi at the event. The film contended alongside others such as “20 Days in Mariupol”, “Anatomy of a Fall”, “Past Lives” and “Society of the Snow”.

This is not the first time Deepika has taken the center stage for an international award event. Last year, she was seen at the Oscars, introducing the song ‘Nattu Nattu’ from the movie ‘RRR’.

‘The Zone of Interest’ is a UK-Polish historical drama about Auschwitz concentration camp, based on the 2014 novel by Martin Amis.

The event took place on February 19th, at the BAFTA Awards in Los Angeles.

Deepika Padukone continues to shine on the international stage, representing Indian cinema at renowned events like the BAFTA Awards. Her presence and contributions in the global film industry are commendable, and she remains a proud ambassador for Indian cinema.
