Bal Gangadhar Tilak Jayanti – The father of Nationalism, Bal Gangadhar Tilak was originally born on 23rd July 1856 in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. His birth anniversary is celebrated on this day in the entire nation. His real name is Keshav Gangadhar Tilak, a renowned freedom fighter, educator, social thinker and philosopher. While completing his master’s, he left midway and took admission in the L.L.B programme.
