Banks and Blaze Criticize Nadeshot for Remarks on Tfue’s Lawsuit Against FaZe Clan

100 Thieves CEO Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag and several members of FaZe Clan have been embroiled in an ugly online spat post the news that Fortnite BR pro player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney is suing the organisation.

Tfue has filed the lawsuit against the FaZe clan and claimed that the organisation is holding the superstar under a repressive contract.

The filing of the lawsuit has evoked strong reactions from a lot of prominent personalities from the esports community on social media.

It included 100 Thieves CEO Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag.

‘Nadeshot’ Haag, in a post on X, said that he hoped the spat will not affect the feelings for the esports teams among the gaming fraternity. He added that many groups in the esports field have their primary properties as their professional players and content creators.

He also added that he is professionally close with a lot of owners & staff over at FaZe Clan and the whole controversy is not worth the hue and cry it has created. A majority of the people do not harbor any ill intention, but this does not stop some within the community who do not understand the esports ecosystem and try to score brownie points when they get an opportunity.

Nadeshot’s Statements on Tfue’s Lawsuit against FaZe Clan

However, Nadeshot’s comments were taken very seriously by Ricky ‘Banks’ and Lucas ‘Blaze’ Mosing, who are prominent members of the FaZe Clan, and both of them have posted strongly worded tweets in response.

Banks called Nadeshot’s comments a piece of shit and asked him to wait for Banks’ response.

He also accused Nadeshot of jumping into the bandwagon and chasing clout. Banks also threatened Nadeshot and said that he will personally ensure that Nadeshot will regret his comments.

On the other hand, Lucas Blaze’s reply mention that he took Nadeshot’s comments personally and did not believe a single word of Nadeshot’s comments.

Nadeshot, finding his comments blowing out of proportion, did try to defuse the situation and went into a damage control mode. In a series of tweets, he clarified that his comments were not directed at any one of FaZe’s original founding members.

He added that he had full respect for what Banks, Temper, Rain, and Apex have created at FaZe. He also reminded them that they have been working together for a decade and also apologized if his tweets caused any distress.
