Bengaluru sees delivery of India’s first Ferrari Purosangue luxury SUV
India welcomed its first-ever Ferrari Purosangue luxury performance SUV in a record time as it was recently delivered to its owner in Bengaluru. The Italian SUV made its global debut in 2022, marking a new era for Ferrari as its first four-door, four-seater SUV.
The Nero Daytona black Ferrari Purosangue with an Iroko interior boasts a unique design, setting itself apart from traditional SUVs. The model features a 6.5-litre V12 engine generating 715 bhp, 716 Nm of torque, and an impressive 0-100 kmph acceleration in 3.3 seconds.
Ferrari emphasizes that the Purosangue is not an SUV but a high-performance car on stilts with distinctive Ferrari design elements. The model offers practicality with an extra set of doors for easy access to the rear seats, making it the brand’s most practical car to date.
Equipped with carbon ceramic brakes, active suspension, and advanced steering technology, the Ferrari Purosangue promises a thrilling driving experience. While the price is yet to be confirmed, the estimated starting price is ₹6 crore (ex-showroom), positioning it against competitors like the Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus in the high-performance SUV segment.
With the arrival of the Ferrari Purosangue in India, enthusiasts can expect more of these luxury SUVs to grace the Indian roads in the near future. Stay tuned for updates on this groundbreaking addition to the country’s automotive landscape.
