A SciFi dark comedy starring Shweta Tripathi along with Massey tells a story about a spaceship where dead people are sent in order to recycle them. Messay plays the role of a transition officer employed on the spaceship. The story takes an amazing twist when a young astronaut is sent to the spaceship to assist them with the process of recycling. Directed by Arati Kadav the movie makes us think about life and death. 

2. A Death in the Gunj

Directed by Konkona Sen Sharma with cast members like Om Puri, Jim Sarbh, Tanuja, Kalki Koechlin, Ranvir Shorey, and Tillotama Shome. The movies show what is accepted and what is not accepted in society when it comes to masculinity. Beautiful plotline to highlight social norms of toxic masculinity and how deep-rooted the stigma is in the current scenario. Massey plays the role of a young boy who goes on the mental journey of realization during his family trip.

3. Dil Dhadakne Do

A multi-starrer blockbuster film. However Massey wasn’t in the lead role but his performance surely made an impact on the audience, plus being in the presence of actors like Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, and Rahul Bose is really hard to get good screen time. The movie shows the lives of the Mehra family who are on a cruise trip to celebrate their 30th anniversary. 

4. Haseen Dillruba

Released on Netflix, the film revolves around  Rani Kashyap (Taapsee Pannu) who is a suspect in her husband’s Rishu (Vikrant Massey) murder case. The film sheds light on toxic masculinity and violence in marriage. While the main protagonist is Rani but Massey’s performance in the movie is quite commendable.
