Satisfying GATE eligibility is a mandatory requirement for admission in engineering/ technical/ architecture and Ph.D. programs. From this, you will get admission to IITs and other institutions supported by MHRD and other government institutions.

GATE exam is conducted in 29 subjects in engineering and basic science, as they can choose subjects as per their interests & respective specialization in UG courses. This exam is conducted in MCQ form.

CAT Exam

Most IITs have gone beyond just offering engineering-based courses and are moving towards becoming multidisciplinary institutions. Therefore, students who wish to study at IIT can study engineering and business aspects or consider developing a start-up business. They can also get admission to various courses through their management schools or departments. While each IIT has its School of Management admissions criteria, those who pass the CAT usually get shortlisted for interviews and further rounds.

The fake news spread quickly, requiring the intervention of Assam’s Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu, who exposed the details of a fake Twitter account spreading rumors about exam results.

On Friday, Assam’s Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu, took to social media to debunk the fake news that the Secondary Exams results of Assam had been released.
