On Wednesday, the Health Department suddenly released a new figure regarding death from Corona. According to the government, not 5424 but 9375 (till June 7) people have died of corona in Bihar.

Bihar Health Department has added a new figure of death of an additional 3951 people. However, these figures do not say when these additional deaths occurred.

8 thousand people died in the second wave of Corona

According to new figures, the death toll in the second wave of Corona is close to 8 thousand. In Bihar’s capital Patna, 2 301 people have died due to corona, while in the Muzaffarpur district 609 patients have died.

Not only death but also the figures of those who are recovering are manipulated

The Health Department of Bihar had reported 701234 on Tuesday as the number of people who were cured of corona infection, which has been changed to 698397 on Wednesday. That is, instead of increasing the number of people who are cured, the number of people who are cured has decreased. At the same time, where the percentage of recovery of coronavirus patients in Bihar was reported as 98.70 percent on Tuesday, it has been revised to 97.65 percent on Wednesday.

What did the government say?

Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department, Pratyaya Amrit, told a press conference that the High Court had also ordered in this regard. Therefore, on May 18 itself, the Bihar government had decided to conduct an investigation regarding the figures of deaths due to corona. After which two teams were formed. Who prepared the record of deaths in hospitals. At the same time, the second team prepared the report of those dead who died on the way to other places like isolation centers, home isolation, covid care centers, and hospitals.
