Other notable candidates include Shiv Mangal Singh Tomar from Morena, V.D. Sharma from Khajuraho, Ganesh Singh from Satna, and Janardan Mishra from Rewa. Former Bhopal mayor Alok Sharma will be contesting from the Bhopal constituency, replacing sitting MP Pragya Singh Thakur.

Among the other candidates announced are Rajesh Mishra (Sidhi), Durgadas Uike (Betul), Gyaneshwar Patil (Khandwa), and many more for different constituencies across the state. The BJP had a strong showing in Madhya Pradesh in the 2019 elections, winning 28 out of 29 seats, and 27 seats in 2014.

The BJP’s announcement comes as a significant move in the lead up to the 2024 Parliamentary elections, setting the stage for a competitive race in Madhya Pradesh. The party’s candidate selection reflects a mix of experience and new faces, aiming to secure a successful outcome in the upcoming polls.
