BJP names 3 candidates for Bihar MLC polls, Shahnawaz Hussain excluded

The BJP has announced three candidates for the MLC elections in Bihar, excluding senior leader Shahnawaz Hussain’s name. The party has nominated Mangal Pandey, Anamika Singh, and Lal Mohan Gupta, with one seat given to Santosh Kumar Suman from HAM-S. Names of current MLCs like Shahnawaz Hussain and Sanjay Paswan have not been considered for renomination.

The BJP did not repeat any other leader for the MLC elections, except for Mangal Pandey, who was preparing for the Lok Sabha elections from Siwan. This unexpected move might come as a setback for Pandey. CM Nitish Kumar and Khalid Anwar will be the NDA candidates from JD-U.

The Election Commission has set the last date for filing nominations as March 11, with voting scheduled for March 21 between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The results will be announced on the same day. Stay tuned for updates on the MLC elections in Bihar.
