In its fifth list for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, the BJP has named 7 candidates in Rajasthan. Priyanka Balan, a fresh face, will contest from Ganganagar, while Shubhkaran Chaudhary has been named the nominee in Jhunjhunu. Manju Sharma, daughter of veteran BJP leader Bhanwarlal Sharma, will contest from Jaipur and Rao Rajendra Singh from Jaipur Rural.
Sukhbeer Singh Jaunpuria has been re-nominated from Tonk, Bhagirath Chaudhary from Ajmer, and Mahima Vishveshwar Singh from Rajsamand. Three sitting MPs have not been re-nominated while five new faces have been fielded in this list.

She is the wife of Udaipur MLA Vishvaraj Singh Mewar. The choices reveal a strategic blend of fresh faces and experienced leaders in the BJP’s approach for the Rajasthan Lok Sabha polls.
