Britney Spears Deletes Post Criticizing Halsey’s ‘Lucky’ Video, Singer Responds With Love

Britney Spears and Halsey were kind of in a feud online, but it all turned out to be a hoax and things got fixed by themselves.

So Halsey released a new song named “Lucky” on July 26.

Britney was not quite happy with it and posted about that on X.

But later, also not immediately, Britney deleted the post on her social media.

Britney mentioned that she was upset about the video, she felt harassed, violated, and bullied.

Britney mentioned that she was surprised that Halsey showed her as a shallow pop star in the video and did not admire it.

“I feel harassed, violated, and bullied. I didn’t know an artist like her and someone I looked up to and admired would illustrate me in such an ignorant way by tailoring me as a superficial pop star with no heart or concern at all,”

Britney further went on to talk about her health issues and said that she took down her Instagram to stay away from social media for a while.

Britney also mentioned that she was consulting a lawyer to get the music out of the video.

However, later Spears posted that she deleted the post because she loved Halsey and the post was not done by her.

Halsey also replied to the tweet saying that she loves Britney and she inspires Halsey every day.

“I love Britney!!!! I always have and always will you were the first person who ever made me realize what it means to feel inspired. And you continue to inspire me everyday,” replied Halsey.

Till the time being, it is not clarified whether Spears was the one to comment in the first place or not.

The new music that Halsey released is titled “Lucky” and it used a significant part of Britney Spears’ song which was released in 2000 with the same name.

It is kind of a spin-off to how Spears was back in the day and how she used to dress up, dealing with the fame and all.

Halsey also mentioned that when she released that song, Spears gave the blessing, and that Spears already heard the song before and responded that she liked the song.
