This decision was made as per the directions of BSP President Mayawati and Rajasthan unit chief Bhagwan Singh Baba.

The BSP had previously announced two candidates for Alwar and Ganga Nagar in Rajasthan. Fazal Hussain will be contesting from Alwar, while Devkaran Nayak will be representing the party in Ganga Nagar during the Lok Sabha polls. With these recent announcements, the BSP has now fielded a total of five candidates in Rajasthan for the upcoming elections.

Rajasthan is set to go to the polls in two phases on April 19 and April 26, with a total of 25 Lok Sabha seats up for grabs. The BSP’s selection of candidates in key constituencies is seen as a strategic move by the party as they gear up for the election battle ahead.
