FASTag is a tag that comes under the National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) program. It uses RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology to make toll payments directly from a linked prepaid account. This means you don’t have to carry around cash or change, and you can avoid wasting time at the toll plaza.
It not only makes your commute easier but offers an innovative solution to minimize traffic and pollution on highways. Since you do not have to wait to pay cash or for the toll employee to return the exchange, you can get faster transit through toll plazas— a time-saving benefit for you!
