Famous comedian Kapil Sharma had filed a fraud case against car designer Dilip Chhabria. Now in this case, the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police called Kapil Sharma to record his statement. He was summoned by Sachin Waje, the API of the Criminal Intelligence Unit, for questioning. Kapil Sharma reached the Crime Branch office on Thursday for this inquiry. According to media reports, after the summons, Kapil Sharma went to the crime branch to get his statement recorded and said that “We had ordered vanity van, had come to give the statement in the same series”.

On December 28 last year, DC Design founder and famous car designer Dilip Chhabria was arrested by Mumbai Police. Chhabria is accused of fraud and forgery. A case has been registered against them under sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120 (B) and 34. Dilip Chhabria is considered to be one of India’s renowned car designers. Dilip Chhabria designed India’s first sports car. He has designed cars for many film personalities from Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. Along with the car, he also designs luxurious vanity vans of celebs. Kapil also has a vanity van designed by Dilip.
