Caroline Calloway, 33, claimed that she slept with the suspected shooter of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, in New York last week.
The controversial influencer claimed in a post on X after the suspected shooter was identified as Luigi Mangione.
Caroline Calloway, in a post on X, said:

However, her latest act or prank—whatever we call it—did not go well with her fans and followers, and one fan retorted:

For the unversed, Caroline Calloway claims to be a writer and influencer but is often known for generating controversies, which include charges of scamming after her creativity workshops in 2019 bombed miserably.
She also stands accused of exploiting a ghostwriter (Natalie Beach) for her Instagram fame and failing to honour a $500,000 memoir deal.
Her ex-friend, in The Cut exposé titled “I Was Caroline Calloway,” revealed that she was getting paid to ghostwrite for fake followers on the social networking site.
Caroline Calloway also received a six-figure amount to write a memoir, but the deal fell through, and the influencer had to return the advance she received for the book deal.
Luigi Mangione is the suspect being held for shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson and will be produced in Pennsylvania for an extradition hearing to New York on Tuesday.
Luigi Mangione has been charged by New York prosecutors with multiple offences, including one count of murder, possession of an illegal weapon, and forging identification documents.
Luigi Mangione was arrested at a McDonald’s outlet in Altoona, Pennsylvania after he was recognized by an employee at the outlet who alerted the police.
