Cartoon Network Website Shut Down Causes Users To Be Redirected To Another Platform
Cartoon Network needs no introduction. The channel, which used to run all the favorite cartoon shows on TV, sparked rumors that it might be canceled and that Cartoon Network might no longer exist.
However, the reality is that to keep the CN brand alive, the shows that used to be aired on CN have been redirected to the Max streaming service.
Cartoon Network Website Shut Down
On Max, people can watch both new and old animated shows that were once on Cartoon Network.
There were rumours that Cartoon Network was going out of business, possibly due to job layoffs and industry issues.
However, these rumours were false.
It was confirmed that Cartoon Network is still operational and continues to produce new content.
Currently, people can access CN shows on Max by subscribing to the streaming platform and using the child-safe options to ensure worry-free viewing for kids.
This has been confirmed by a notice on the Cartoon Network website, even though the site now redirects users to Max.
The notice had,
“Looking for episodes of your favourite Cartoon Network shows? Check out what’s available to stream on Max (subscription required). Sign up for Max, where you can also create a Kid’s Profile with restrictions and additional privacy protections to keep it fun and kid-friendly! Cable subscribers, continue to enjoy your favourite CN programming on your TV and connected apps as well!”
The hashtag #RIPCartoonNetwork caused a lot of concern among fans and cartoon enthusiasts.
But with the confirmation that CN will continue to operate and provide content through Max, people have been relieved and reassured.
The website for the channel, however, is not operational anymore, which is another bummer for users to check out because it has caused a wave of sadness for those who have been fans for a few years at least.
CN is an integrated part of childhood; its name itself brings in a lot of nostalgia to Gen Z and millennial kids.
