Champawat Accident: 11 of 13 dead after vehicle falls into gorge in Champawat

Champawat Accident: In a tragic accident that took place last night, 11 of 13 people died after their vehicle fell into a gorge near Budaun in Champawat district. Due to the deep ditch, it is proving difficult for police and other rescue teams to transport the bodies to the road. Let us tell you, This accident occurred on Sukhidhang-Danda-Minar (SDM) road.

As per the recieved information, A procession from Danda Kaknai area went to Tanakpur and then on their way back at night, one of these vehicles fell down into an gorge near Budaun.

As per news resources, The accident happened around 12 o’clock at night. There were about 13 people in the car. After the accident, the driver and some of the passengers made their way to a road and found help. They told the villagers about what happened and then the villagers told the police.

As soon as the police got information about this, police teams and other rescue teams left for the spot. Rescue operation is being conducted by the police.

PM Narendra Modi has expressed deep sorrow over this accident. He tweeted that the accident in Champawat, Uttarakhand is heart-wrenching. I express my condolences to the families of those who have died in this. The local administration is engaged in relief and rescue work.
