Charleston White Arrested in Texas for the Second Time on Charges of Animal Cruelty and Aggravated Assault

Charleston White is embroiled in a legal tussle for the second time, and this time he faces charges of animal cruelty and aggravated assault in Texas. The charges are serious and include killing, poisoning, or causing serious bodily injury to an animal without the owner’s consent.

The comedian is facing charges related to animal assault as well as aggravated assault employing a deadly weapon, according to jail records reviewed by the media house Complex.

The comedian is being held at the Lon Evans Corrections Center without any bond amounts listed for his charges.

The circumstances under which White was arrested are akin to last December when he faced a charge of animal cruelty as well as two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in two different events—both in Texas.

Charleston White Arrested Again in Texas for Animal Cruelty and Aggravated Assault

The latest arrest of Charleston White was related to an animal cruelty report from December 2022 as well as an assault that reportedly occurred in November 2023.

White has been slapped with animal cruelty charges for torturing a cat by pepper spraying it. The additional two counts of aggravated assault were related to an incident in which White initially claimed that he was the victim.

White, in a video which he shared later, stated that the charge of animal cruelty was “made up.”

“The animal charge, somebody sent a screenshot of a cat, said I did something to a cat. I don’t know what that’s about,”

he stated.

He also revealed that he brought the gun to safeguard his wife after he was hit on his head with a gun by some unknown person while he was asleep.

At the start of this year, White had charged Boosie Badazz with threatening a promoter and wished he was jailed. He also alleged that Boosie had threatened a promoter to prevent him from performing in Baton Rouge, the rapper’s hometown.

“I’m waiting for the FBI to send me the right kind of number, n###a, ‘cause I’m finna make a report on your m############ ass. The man called your name specifically. The promoter specifically said your m############ my name, Lil Boosie. He implicated you. B#### ass n####, you finna go back to jail. You gon’ be on your knees. Their knees are bleeding again, diabetic freak,”

White said.

Charleston White had earlier been involved in a spat with Tia Kemp, a controversial social media figure and the mother of Rick Ross’ oldest son.

“[She] is a horrible Black mother. Her public words towards her son’s father affect the child! This is one of the main reasons I chose not to have a child with a Black woman! She’s emasculating her male son by publicly shaming the father of her son! She’s a disgrace as a Black mother,”

Charleston White had stated.

Tia Kemp responded and stated that she regretted discussing him and their feud and derided White for dragging their children into the dispute. Kemp also added that it amounted to a violation of Instagram’s community guidelines on bullying and harassment.
