'Chauvinist males want power only to be vested in them', Shobha Karandlaje on 'Go Back' campaign against her

Union Minister for State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Shobha Karandlaje addressed the ‘Go Back’ campaign against her in Chikmagalur, Karnataka. She accused chauvinist males of carrying out malicious campaigns to overpower her.

Karandlaje expressed confidence in her party’s leadership to counter the campaign and emphasized her clean political record. She dismissed claims by Congress Minister M.B. Patil and hinted at internal strife within the Congress party.

Sources revealed that BJP insiders were behind the ‘Go Back’ campaign on social media against Karandlaje, with posters popping up in her constituency. Former CM B.S. Yediyurappa extended his support to her, predicting a victory in the upcoming elections.

Former BJP National General Secretary C.T. Ravi, who allegedly supported the campaign against Karandlaje, denied the accusations and reaffirmed his loyalty to the party. He emphasized the shared goal of bringing Prime Minister Narendra Modi back to power.

Despite facing challenges within her own party and opposition, Karandlaje remains determined to secure her position in the Lok Sabha. The political landscape in Karnataka remains tense as the Lok Sabha elections approach, with parties vying for control over key constituencies.
