In her latest shoot, Bhumi Pednekar is seen wearing an off-white lehenga with golden embroidery. She paired her lehenga with a sheer white choli. She decided to accessorize her look with golden bangles and earrings. Her makeup is done in a minimal tone with vibrant maroon lip shade.
Climate Activist Bhumi
Many don’t know about her that Bhumi Pednekar is an avid climate activist even to the point to turn herself into a vegetarian. Back in 2019, she started a campaign named- ‘Climate Warrior’ in order to raise awareness regarding climate change and global warming.
Through her initiative, she joined hands with Anirudh Sharma, Co-creator of Air-Ink. The man behind the invention of carbon emission cycles helps in carbon-negative materials such as paints, sustainable coatings etc.
While preparing for her debut in Bollywood, Bhumi Pednekar had to gain 20 kg within a year. During an interview with a tabloid she stated- I had to put on 90 kg weight while shooting for the film but lost 5 kg during the last phase of the shoot with the help of a strict diet. She always says the only way to a healthy life is through clean eating and a peaceful mind. While growing up she wasn’t allowed to eat junk food or soft drinks.
Back in 2020, she joined hands with MTV to make a web series named Nishedh- an initiative to highlight the issue of reproductive healthcare among youth and issues related to it.
