Chicago Rapper Lil Zay Osama Accused in Violent L.A. Smoke Shop Heist—Victims Brutally Attacked!
A Chicago Rapper named Lil Zay Osama is one of the prime accused and under investigation for his role in the March 13 armed robbery in a smoke shop in Los Angeles.
The armed robbery was executed at the Hubci Smoke Shop along Melrose Avenue and the Police suspect that the rapper could have played a role in the incident.
The robbery happened around 9.00 pm when two videographers were invited to the smoke shop. However, the assailants numbering eight pretending to make a video ambushed the victims. The robbers included Osama who held a gun and threatened the victims.

The robbers also battered the victims and two victims are reported to have received serious injuries. One of the victims had a laceration on his head while another victim lost a number of teeth after he was hit by the butt of the pistol. The victims had to need emergency medical treatment and are now recuperating,
The robbers decamped in two vehicles- a black BMW and a yellow Lamborghini Urus after snatching jewellery from the victims.
Authorities have not revealed the names of the victims. Judging by the degree of injuries suffered by the victims, a high level of violence must have been used.
The robbers made a getaway in a black BMW and a yellow Lamborghini Urus but the people were able to trace the yellow Lamborghini in 30 minutes.
A chase which lasted for 40 minutes ensued and the services of multiple agencies including the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the California Highway Patrol (CHP), and Ventura County sheriff’s deputies were called in.
The Police were able to stop the getaway vehicle in Santa Rosa Valley, with two suspects in custody. However, Police have stated that the black BMW occupants remain on the loose and an investigation is on.
This is not the first time that Rapper Lil Zay Osama has been involved in illegal acts. He has been indicted in the past for several illegal acts including weapons possession, police chases, robbery and battery.
Rapper Lil Zay Osama, a.k.a. has served a 14-month jail sentence in 2024 for a federal weapons charge, possessing an altered gun in an Uber. He has also been indicted for robbery and in an interview even accepted that he had robbed a cameraman for music video shoots in the past.
